FliteMap combines all of the exceptional flight planning capabilities of FliteStar with a tremendously flexible route editor tied to a clear representation of aircraft position to provide the utmost in situational awareness. FliteMap delivers a clean, uncluttered screen layout with all the information exactly where you need it. Your position can be displayed not only in the planview, but shown in the profile view as well. Customizable In-Flight Information Bars will help you keep vital information like ground speed, bearing, track, nearest airport, fuel available, and much more at your fingertips. In addition, FliteMap eliminates the tedious task of programming your GPS! Simply plan your flight and then upload the route(s) into your GPS for another source of position information in the cockpit. You can also download a flight plan into FliteMap from your GPS.

Easy to Use

With FliteMap, changing your route in-flight is easy. When you get a new clearance, FliteMap's In-Flight Controller allows easy select and go direct to a waypoint, add or delete waypoints, Departure Procedures, STARs and more. Any modifications to your route result in a graphic representation of your proposed change, which you can choose to either accept or reject. If you decide to execute the change, vital flight information is automatically recalculated. Select Emergency and FliteMap displays the nearest airports along with a pointer and all the pertinent information. FliteMap records your actual ground track so you maintain a historical file of your aircraft's path. The flight data recorder records the time, date, position, groundspeed, ground track and user comments. Select from 10 preset recording intervals ranging from two seconds to 1 hour. You can also drop a manual track point at anytime.

Powerful Moving Map Features

FliteMap includes Jeppesen's exclusive VectorPlus Mapping Technology, which features incredibly bright and colorful high definition maps. VectorPlus Chart Themes offer Jeppesen low and high altitude enroute chart emulations, VFR charts, and user-customizable charts. You can adjust your display to show just a single chart, multiple charts, toolbars, and information bars, or anything in between. FliteMap also features intelligent chart declutter which minimizes label overwrite, making your charts easier to read without manual adjustment. Color-coded elevation information can be viewed in both the planview and profile views. FliteMap also includes obstacle data for the contiguous United States. The interactive profile view displays terrain, altitudes, MEAs, airspace, wind component arrows and more.

Complete Package

You receive everything in one complete package including: Jeppesen NavData coverage, appropriate digital RasterPlus VFR charts (WACS, TPC/VFR+GPS, or ONCs), and a detailed user manual. All you need is a computer and a GPS receiver.
